Chugach Range Spring Hunts-

Experience one of the most thrilling bear hunts in North America, deep in Alaska’s legendary Chugach Range. As spring awakens the wilderness, hunters venture by small river boats into remote terrain, navigating toward predesignated camps with premium glassing knobs that provide unmatched visibility.

This time of year, massive brown bears emerge from their dens, driven by hunger and the search for mates—creating ideal conditions for spotting and stalking. These giants average 8′ to 9′+, offering an exhilarating challenge for serious hunters.

Whether you’re a seasoned sportsman or seeking the ultimate back country adventure, this hunt promises unforgettable excitement, rugged beauty, and the chance to harvest a true trophy.

Kodiak Island Spring Hunts– Home to the largest brown bears on the face of the planet. If you’re looking for the ultimate big game adventure, this is the number one destination to pursue true giants. Our spring hunts are conducted deep in the heart of bear country using a carefully planned combination of float planes, boats, remote campsites, and glassing knobs that give you a strategic vantage point over rugged, untamed terrain.  Spring is one of the most exciting times to hunt Kodiak brown bears. As the snow melts and the season changes, bears emerge from their dens in search of food and mates. Boars become highly active, traveling extreme distances to locate sows, which results in incredible bear movement and higher encounter rates. During this time, hunters may witness unforgettable behaviors — including dominant boars wrestling for territory, rubbing trees to mark their presence, and engaging in dramatic mating rituals. It’s an unrivaled display of raw, natural power in one of the wildest places on Earth.  This area is legendary for producing 10-foot-plus bears and due to the genetics and habitat of this location, we strive to take only bears measuring 9 feet and larger.  If you’re ready to experience the thrill and adrenaline of hunting the largest brown bears on Earth in one of the most breathtaking settings imaginable, then a spring hunt on Kodiak Island is calling your name.

Alaska and Chugach Range Fall bear hunts-  Experience the ultimate Alaskan adventure with our premier Fall Bear Hunts in the wild and breathtaking last frontier. Our Chugach Range hunts for brown and black bears are conducted from boats along salmon-fed rivers, with strategic campsites overlooking maintained bait sites set up in prime bear territory. In the Alaska Range, you’ll hunt in the high alpine wilderness from remote spike camps accessed by small aircraft—offering not only a true back country experience but also remarkable opportunities for trophy-sized bears. With average bears measuring above 8 feet and the occasional 9-10 footer, this is a hunt that delivers both excitement and reward. During these hunts the chances to see multiple bears per trip makes every moment in the field worthwhile. Alaska Range black bears are also present and may be taken on a trophy fee basis. Our fall hunts are less physically demanding, but hunters should still be prepared for quick movement when the opportunity arises. Backed by comfortable camps, experienced guides, and commitment to providing an unforgettable Alaskan wilderness experience. Join us for a hunt like no other.
